About

Hello! I'm Erika. I am glad you are here, and first, I want to acknowledge that just by arriving here, you’ve already taken a powerful first step toward the direction of healing. As your therapist, I focus on more than just addressing symptoms—I believe in honoring the whole person, the stories, and the lived experiences beneath those symptoms. My practice is built on believing every individual has the inherent power to heal, transform, and thrive. Life’s challenges may cloud our access to this inner strength, but together, we will rediscover the resilience that already resides within you. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as EMDR, Attachment-Based, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness-Based, Psychosomatic, and Cognitive Behavioral Processing. These approaches are designed to help you explore the deeper roots of emotions and struggles. They offer a path to gain renewed self-awareness and reduce the lingering impact of past and current experiences that may pull you away from being fully present in your life and relationships.   I am dedicated to creating a therapeutic space that feels safe, genuine, and nonjudgmental—a space where your voice can be heard, emotions are embraced, and experiences are honored. Let’s work together to unlock the potential within you and move toward a life that feels authentic, fulfilling, and wholeheartedly yours. Additional Details: This is a supervised private practice. It is owned and/or managed by a master’s level, non-independent licensee under Board-approved clinical supervision pursuant to A.A.C. R4-6-211. The Board-approved clinical supervisor of this practice is: Name: Robyn Merchant, LPC Phone Number: 480.331.2061 Email: robyn@satyacounselingandwellness.org Out of Network Insurance Information: I am an out-of-network therapist, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I provide a detailed receipt, called a superbill, after our sessions. You can submit this superbill to your insurance company, and depending on your plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. I know finding the right therapist is an important step, and I’m here to help. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about my availability or how I work. I also offer a free 15-minute consultation call so we can chat about your needs and see if we’re a good fit. Send me a message, and we’ll get started! I look forward to connecting with you.
